This black and white cow wallhanging is just perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to a child’s bedroom. Having wandered from its barn to the luscious green pasture, this happy cow is ready for lunch and then a nap in the summer sunshine. Whether your nursery décor is part of a farm theme or this fabric picture stands alone, the playful style of this piece is sure to evoke giggles and imaginative play. However, back at the barn, the chickens insist this is a white and black cow; the goats are sticking to a black spotted white cow.
This piece is modeled after an original work by Ryan Fitzbeauchamp, my son, back when he was in college. Kara loves cows so he designed and sewed a black and white cow wallhanging for her. I loved the design so much that I have created my adaptation of Ryan’s original art.
All works have been handmade by me in my smoke-free home. This wallhanging was created from leftover pieces of a baby’s quilt. The whimsical nature of the design called for vibrant springtime colors.
