This bunch of carrots was inspired by one of Evening Song Farm’s business cards featuring part of a farmers’ market vegetable stand piled high with multi-colored carrots. Imagine the joy of seeing this canvas-mounted piece in your kitchen or breakfast nook every day. Ready to hang, this unique home décor item can also subtly remind one that it’s snack time.
The carrots are created with batik fabrics and the roots are thread painted (sewn with thread). Free motion quilting and fusible web material hold the carrot tops from swaying in the breeze.
